Cello
Life November 14th, 2007Beth, my sister, plays the cello and has recently begun teaching me. Let me tell you, plucking the strings hurt at first. I have rivets on my index finger and have been forced to wear a Band-Aid, which impairs my typing skills. Oh, well, it’s a small thing to give up until I get used to the strings–it really is a beautiful sounding instrument.
After the piano and sax, it’s different yet intriguing. I’ve been wanting to play a stringed instrument for some time, and Beth is an excellent player so it was great that she offered to teach me.
Look, Mom, I can play “At Pierrot’s Door”!
